The first word that comes to mind with this cake is “sinful”. It’s a LUXURY dessert, plain and simple. I baked a similar cake while cooking aboard the Misty Law and Lammer Law in the British Virgin Islands… where the best rum is made! This cake easily serves 16. It’s beyond moist; it’s saturated — with rum, butter — need I say more?
The New York Dippers Club wholeheartedly approve of this cake; they did a side by side test taste and didn’t bother to finish the first cake option (it was that bad).
As always, this is a gluten-free dessert. Definitely need at least 24 hours on this order; the glaze needs to saturate the cake.
